Here you can read the most salient of our beliefs and doctrines that regulate everything that we do as a church. These are very basic and universal Christian understandings about what the Bible teaches. You will find that we do not differ in any major way from Christian orthodoxy. We adhere to these foundations of the faith based on what we can read in the Bible. Any deviation from the Bible we consider it to be unacceptable. Therefore, to the best of our ability we try to stay within the parameters established by the ancients who wrote these scriptures by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
God
There is one true God, who is the only Supreme Being. He is Holy, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient and Eternal. He is Love, Truth, Spirit, Light and Creator of everything. He is to be worshipped, served and proclaimed. God introduced Himself as “I AM” which means I AM WHO I AM. He is One God who exists in three coequal persons at the same time. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the three divine, related but distinct persons who constitute the one God. Jesus being the second person of the Godhead was made flesh, became fully man and remained fully divine. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
Man
Man was created without sin, in the image and likeness of God for an everlasting love relationship with the Creator. Man is the crown of all creation and is given dominion over all the earth and animals. Man is made of three parts: spirit , soul and body which in turn can be categorized in two: inner and outer man. Outer man is the body. Inner man is the spirit and soul. The first people rebelled against God and consequently were separated from His presence. Sin brought death, sickness and misery. Sin gets transmitted from generation to generation with the birth of children.
Salvation
Salvation is the rescue from the eternal judgment of God upon the sinners. The only way to be saved is by faith in Christ Jesus who was sacrificed on behalf of everyone. Genuine faith is followed by repentance and a righteous life through the power of God. Saved people live with God forever. When physical death occurs those who are saved go to heaven for the rest of eternity, escaping the ultimate judgment in hell.
Church
The church is the body of all who are truly saved. Jesus is the head of the church. The church is called God’s building and the bride of Christ. The mission of the church on earth is to worship the Lord, preach the Gospel to the world and become Christ-like in thinking and in actions.
Scripture
The Bible was written by righteous men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the accurate and authoritative revelation of God. The Bible consists of 66 books that were written by various authors over a 1600-year period. The Bible is without doctrinal error in the original manuscripts and absolutely trustworthy. No other writing is as authoritative as this Book.
